Being the head of the household means people come to me with all types of problems and I’m supposed to solve them. I know it sounds silly but I feel sometimes like I’m flying blind when people ask me about things I don’t know anything about.
For example, the other day my son was talking on and on about http://www.homesecurityfamily.com/ and I had to finally stop him and remind him I didn’t know a thing about the Internet. I know, I know, someone my age should know more but I just don’t! What I know best is that things grow well in the garden in spring and how to talk to your neighbors but I sure don’t know anything about technology! I’m learning as I get older and things are starting to fall into place but I just can’t believe I’m at the stage in my life where I’m the advice giver.
I have my moments but I’m glad I’m older and wiser and can finally feel comfortable in who I am and what I have to offer.
